Melissa and Zack – Engaged! | Albany NY Wedding Photographer

I never stay updated with posting, but I really wanted to post this session.  A few weeks ago, I got to photograph the engagement session for my beautiful niece Melissa and her wonderful fiance Zack.  We walked around downtown and got lots of great shots.  Her wedding photographer, Keith Hitlin, is one lucky guy – this couple does not take a bad photograph, ever!  I’ll be happy to be attending their wedding this summer as a guest…..maybe I’ll just bring my point and shoot.  Gasp!

Little Miss Wide-Awake | Saratoga Baby Photographer

When I met 2-week old Gianna a few weeks ago, I hoped she would be as easily sleep-induced as her mom claimed she would be.  Not so much.  But not a problem!  Gianna was just as sweet as could be, and had the most beautiful blue eyes.  She was pretty much up for anything, so we got a nice variety before she finally wore out and fell asleep in my wicker basket.  Right after peeing all over her mom in that peaceful shot of the two of them.  Here are just a few of of shots.

Meet Sarah – Class of 2011 | Saratoga Senior Photographer

Sarah was so much fun to work with this fall.  Our biggest challenge?  Getting her to NOT smile…..usually we were both laughing, and adding her mom into the mix, it was even worse.  So don’t be fooled by these serious expressions – they never lasted long at all.

Congratulations Sarah – it was a pleasure meeting you.  Best wishes for next year!

Blog Renovation

Much like my house, I am always updating and renovating my blog.  The blog is less messy, theoretically.  Except right now it IS a mess.  And it will probably get worse before it gets better as I implement some changes.

In the next week or so (translation – I hope I get through this before the summer) I am going to be resizing images, making lots of design changes, and linking the blog more seamlessly with my site and Facebook.  You can see a few of the changes in the post below.  Loving the larger picture format!

There.  Now I’ve set up my accountability.

I’m also hoping to post more sessions from this November and December.  Bear with me!
