Andrew - Class of 2009 | Albany NY Senior Photographer

I recently had the privilege of shooting Andrew’s senior pictures.  Andrew has been on the crew team for the last 6 years, collects comic books and Transformers (he even brought one to our session), likes to blog, and is currently working on a novel. He is also active with drama club, makes short films, and does voice acting. Quite a resume for a high school student.

Here’s a preview from our session.  Enjoy your senior year Andrew!

She’s Getting Even Cuter! | Saratoga NY Infant Photographer

I had the opportunity to photograph Marin about 6 months ago, and recently did some updated pictures during a session in Congress Park.  She was absolutely adorable in her holiday sweater and dress, and has gotten very smiley.  Plus she makes the cutest scrunchy faces, totally out of the blue - almost like a sneeze, but you don’t have to clean her up afterwords.   We had lots of fun.  Here’s a little sneak preview.blog14.jpg

Ella… | Saratoga NY Children’s Photographer

I spent Tuesday morning (Election Day, as it turned out) photographing Ella.  Very appropriate as it was nearly 1 year to the day since she was brought home from Korea to be with her forever family.  Even more fitting in that Ella enjoyed hanging out at the War Memorial in Congress Park, which included a tribute to Saratogians who fought in the Korean War.

Ella was a joy to photograph.  She is easy-going and happy, and was just a lot of fun to hang out with.  I was amazed by her balance - many times I worried about her going up and down stairs but she was an old pro.  She especially enjoyed being with her “moo” (grandma) who had accompanyied Ella and her mom during our session.  What a sweetie.

Super Cool Family! | Saratoga NY Family Photographer

I had such a great time shooting this family session on Saturday at Yaddo Gardens, which is an artists’ community in Saratoga.  These guys were a blast to work with, and even brought hats to wear during their session.  You would think the boys would balk at the whole idea of having family pictures taken, but they seemed to enjoy themselves, and even helped to scout out cool spots.  At the end, when I asked them where they would like to have a picture done of just the two of them, Quinn and Cooper both shouted out “Gate!!”  They’re boys…………………….right?

We have lots of fun shots; here is just a sampling.

Brothers Revisited | Albany NY Family Photographer

Luke and Nathan were 2 of the early additions to my portfolio almost 4 years ago, and it was a pleasure to photograph them again on Saturday, this time with their beautiful mom. It is amazing to me how much the boys have grown!  We had a great time, and I have a new favorite place to photograph, The Crossings of Colonie.  I actually can’t wait to take my own kids there - they have the nicest playground and bike paths.

Of course, in order to get some of these…

I first had to take some of these:

A Recent Family Session | Delmar NY Family Photographer

I recently had the privilege of photographing Nate and Amy, along with their extended family, who arrived in town less than an hour before our shoot.  The cousins did a great job during our session despite having traveled over 4 hours in the car.  I also was able to grab a couple of shots of just Nate, Amy, and their adorable son, Eli.  Thanks guys - your session was a lot of fun and just what I needed that day.blog2.jpg
